A vibrant, antioxidant-packed base paired with earthy, floral crunch. This bowl pairs a refreshing, chilled berry base with the earthy, floral notes of our Strawberry Matcha granola. The frozen blend of blackberries and raspberries provides a tart, vibrant foundation that perfectly highlights the subtle matcha essence and sweet strawberry clusters.


Smoothie Base Ingredients

  • Frozen Berries: 1 ½ cups mixed frozen berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries).

  • Frozen Banana: ½ large banana, sliced and frozen (this provides the creamy, thick texture).

  • Liquid: 2–4 tbsp milk of choice (almond, coconut, or dairy). Start with 2 tbsp and only add more if the blender stalls.

  • Protein Boost: 1 scoop of vanilla or unflavored protein powder (optional, to reach that 35g protein goal).

The Toppings

Instructions

  1. Blend the Base: Add the frozen berries, frozen banana, and 2 tablespoons of milk to a high-speed blender.

  2. Tamp and Process: Use the blender’s tamper tool to push the frozen fruit down into the blades. Blend on low speed, gradually increasing, until the mixture is thick and smooth. Avoid adding extra liquid unless absolutely necessary.

  3. Assemble: Scoop the thick smoothie mixture into a chilled bowl.

  4. Add the Crunch: Top one half of the bowl with a generous serving of Nomi Crunch Strawberry Matcha granola
